Raiola began her career in 2011, and from 2012 to 2016, she was a cast member of the reality television show Mob Wives. She then began to appear in a variety of different television shows and films. In the same year, she starred in the reality television show Big Ang and Miami Monkey as the lead character. Raiola and her cousin SallyAnn Lombardi created The Drunken Monkey on Staten Island, but the club was forced to close in 2015 owing to Raiola’s criminal history.

What Caused Raiola’s Death?

After battling stage four brain and lung cancer, Raiola passed away. Her throat cancer had spread to her brain and lungs when she was first diagnosed.  Prior to her cancer diagnosis, she admitted to smoking at least one pack of cigarettes per day for over 40 years. She died at a Manhattan hospital in the early hours of Thursday morning, surrounded by friends and family, including her husband Neil Murphy.
