Caleb Williams leads the Heisman Trophy finalists, live stream, watch online, TV channel

The Heisman Trophy will be presented on Saturday night in front of four finalists.

College football’s brightest stars will descend on New York City on Saturday night to find out who will win the Heisman Trophy ceremony in 2022. USC quarterback Caleb Williams, TCU quarterback Max Duggan, Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett IV, and Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud have all been invited to the prestigious ceremony.

Unless Bennett wins the award, the Heisman Trophy will go to a player who lost his last game before the ceremony. The most recent recipient to do so was Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson, who amassed some of the most insane video game numbers in history. This group, on the other hand, is unique in that it includes players from teams that went a combined 47-4 in the 2022 season.

Alabama quarterback Bryce Young won the award in 2021, and the winner this year will be the sixth quarterback to win the award in the last seven years. The 2022 Heisman Trophy ceremony will air on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET. It can also be watched live on fuboTV (Try for free).

Caleb Williams, quarterback, USC:

Before the conference championship weekend, Williams had established himself as the overwhelming favorite. Despite losing to Utah in the Pac-12 Championship Game, Williams’ case for a College Football Playoff spot remains strong. To statistically outperform the rest of the field, the sophomore threw for over 4,000 yards and 47 touchdowns. He led game-winning drives against Oregon State and UCLA before finishing the regular season with four touchdowns against Notre Dame. The Utah loss casts a shadow over Williams’ candidacy, but he remains the overwhelming favorite.

TCU quarterback Max Duggan:

Duggan wasn’t even the starter at the start of the season, but he stole the show once he got his chance. The senior had a career-high 3,321 yards passing, 404 yards rushing, and 36 touchdowns. However, it was an incredible game-tying drive against Kansas State in the Big 12 Championship Game that sent it to overtime that sealed his candidacy. With his exhausting effort, Duggan put his body on the line and won the hearts of college football fans. The quarterback fell six inches short of the goal line on what could have been a game-winning run; if he trips a second later, this could be Duggan’s trophy. Regardless, he has a good chance.

Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett IV:

Bennett became a serious offensive weapon for the No. 1 Bulldogs in 2022 after serving as a game manager during Georgia’s 2021 national championship run. In addition to his 20 passing touchdowns, the former walk-on threw for 3,425 yards and added seven rushing touchdowns. More importantly, the senior is the face of the best team in the country, having led Georgia to its first SEC title since 2017 and a 27-1 record over the previous two seasons.

Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud:

Stroud is the most efficient passer in the country and the focal point of one of the best offenses in the country. The Buckeyes are ranked second in the country in yards per play and scoring offense, while Stroud is tied for first in passing touchdowns (37). His candidacy, however, fell apart after he threw two interceptions in a disappointing performance against No. 2 Michigan. With Stroud as the starting quarterback, Ohio State is still 22-3, and he has thrown for nearly 7,800 yards and 81 touchdowns in his career.
