Corliss Mondari Williamson was born Corliss Williamson on December 4, 1973 in Russellville, Arkansas. His mother’s name is Bettye Williamson, and his father’s name is Jerry Williamson.Corliss attended the University of Arkansas and Russellville High School.He has Afro-American ancestry. At the age of 13, his instructor gave him the nickname “Big Nasty.”

Career of Corliss Williamson:

In high school, Corliss Williamson started shooting hoops. He used to perform in high school, where he received many awards. Corliss received three all-conference and all-state honors. In 1991–1992, he received the Gatorade National Player of the Year title.

He also made a name for himself at the University of Arkansas from 1992 to 1995. He led the school to a 22-9 record and a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 1992–1993 and was named the competition’s Most Outstanding Player.After that, Williamson led Arkansas to the 1995 championship game where they lost to UCLA. In September 2007 Corliss announced his retirement from competitive athletics to take a position as an assistant coach at Arkansas Baptist College. He then served as a volunteer educator at Arkansas Baptist for three years.

Williamson was hired as the men’s basketball coach at the University of Central Arkansas on March 12, 2010. He left Central Arkansas on August 2, 2013, to join the Sacramento Kings as an assistant.On June 29, 2016, Corliss left the Kings to work as Frank Vogel’s assistant coach with the Orlando Magic. The Phoenix Suns announced on May 22, 2018, that Williamson has been hired as Igor Kokov’s new assistant coach.
