Tatiana Navka is a Ukrainian female figure skater. She is best known for winning the world figure skating championship twice in a row, in 2004 and 2005. She had also earned a gold medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics.

Early years

Tatiana Navka was born in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union, on April 13, 1975.

Raisa, an economist, and Aleksandr, an engineer, are her parents, and she has a younger sister, Natalia.

Tatiana Navka became involved in skating after seeing it on television when she was five years old.

During her early years as a single skater, she was trained by Tamara Yarchevskaya and Alexander Rozhin.
