Darrell then co-founded Tonto’s Nephews, a touring First Nations comedy troupe. He co-founded the Los Angeles-based all-Native American comedy company The Mayflower Welcoming Committee in 2014.
He has performed stand-up comedy at Winnipeg Comedy Festival and Just For Laughs Festival galas and on CBC radio and TV. Darrell voiced the Native American character in the CBC Radio election series “Spin-Off” and the TV special “The American Empire.”
