Who are the Parents of Anna Eskamani?
Anna’s parents were in fact immigrants who worked tirelessly to protect their family and community. Their parents possessed both audacious leadership qualities and strong management abilities. Anna’s father worked extremely hard during his early years as a waiter at UCF College and eventually graduated in 1994 with a degree in Engineering.
He later worked as a customer representative on Florida’s space coast and at Walt Disney World. Even Anna Eskamani’s mother, Nasrin, worked in fast food restaurants for minimum wage. Anna has an older sister, Ida, and a younger brother, Arya.
Anna’s mother died of cancer when she was 13 years old, after a five-year battle with the disease. Anna attended a variety of schools throughout her education, including Orange County Public Schools, Lake Middle School, and In University High School.

Anna used to participate in extracurricular activities such as working backstage and building props and costumes during her scolding years. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida.
She earned a dual master’s degree in nonprofit management and public administration from Boston University. Also, she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in current affairs at the University of Central Florida.

Anna has been an active member of her community since she was a child. When she was about ten years old, she received petitions opposing her best friend’s relocation to a different lunchtime.
Throughout her graduate studies, she was heavily involved in environmental issues. Democrats in college, as well as in international human rights. Soon after, she was appointed chair of the State Women’s Caucus and was also a member of the Iranian Students Organization.
She spearheaded the campaign to Keep PBS in Orlando in 2001. Anna is currently employed as a professor at UCF. She was also included in Orlando magazine’s list of the city’s 50 most powerful people. She is a fearless leader with extensive experience serving on numerous community boards.
