In 2011, he was cast as detective Lt. Joe Kenda on the Investigation Discovery smash show Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda, with Joe Kenda and Justin James Boykin. The role proved to be his breakthrough role, earning him a large fan base. He worked on the show for seven seasons.
