Rebecca and her then-fiance, Sanjay Gupta, decided on a Hindu wedding because Gupta’s parents, Subash and Damyanti Gupta, are Indian immigrants who had always wanted to marry in India. The lovebirds chose The Shell House at Ashley Hall in Charleston, South Carolina, for their wedding venue.
