Guitarist Rick Nielsen, bassist Tom Petersson, and drummer Bun E. Carlos made up the cheap trick band. The CD Cheap Trick at Budokan, released in 1979, catapulted the band into the spotlight, resulting in a massive increase in stardom. Cheap trick entered the top ten US charts in 1979 with albums like “I want you to want me” and “the flame.”

Cheap Trick celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2018, performing over 5000 performances and selling over 20 million albums.
