Adriana Reyes, a mother from Uvalde, was arrested after allegedly threatening to harm another person.

Reyes is the mother of Salvador Ramos, an 18-year-old former student at Uvalde’s Robb Elementary School who killed nineteen students and two teachers.

Ramos had previously shot his grandmother in the face.

Adriana Reyes, his mother, was reported for domestic violence twice this week. Following a domestic disturbance complaint, police officers visited Reyes’s home at the same address on January 1st.

Police were back at her door on Wednesday after she assaulted and threatened to kill a man.

The man told police that Reyes was threatening to kill him and that he was terrified of her. She could also murder him in his sleep.

She yelled at the man in front of a police officer, according to reports, but she denied threatening him.

Reyes was arrested after a witness corroborated the man’s statement. On a $1000 bond, she is being held at the Oklahoma County Detention Center. She remained in jail until 3:30 p.m. on January 5.

According to the Uvalde Police Department, Reyes was arrested on trespassing and driving with an expired license on June 21, 2022.

While returning from the station, the victim’s family of the Robb Elementary School shooting yelled at her for being the mother of the murderer, to which she replied, “You have no right to judge my son. You certainly do not! You absolutely do not. “May God forgive you.”

A mass shooting occurred at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on May 20, 2022. In the incident, 19 students and two teachers were killed, and 17 more were injured.

The shooting was carried out by Salvador Ramos, the 18-year-old son of Adriana Reyes. Ramos had previously attended the same school.

He was carrying an AR-15-style rifle on the day of the shooting and fired for nearly 5 minutes outside the school before entering.

He entered the school through an unlocked door and locked himself inside two adjoining classrooms.

He killed the victims and remained inside the school for about an hour before being shot by the US Border Patrol Tactical Unit.

According to Texas police, the shooting was the third deadliest in the country and the deadliest in Texas.

Ramos shot his 66-year-old grandmother in the face the day before the shooting after a disagreement over a phone bill at their home. She survived the shooting and sought assistance from neighbors.

When the police arrived, she was taken in a helicopter to a hospital in San Antonio.
