Mang began her career in finance after graduating from college. After graduation, she went to work as an Associate in Finance for Goldman Sachs. She then became a Holistic Health Coach. She later founded her own health coaching business, The Balanced Beauty LLC. The company encourages women to be healthy and to pursue their dreams.
Despite her financial success, her true passion was acting. As a result, she began looking for opportunities. She was also accepted as an acting student into James Franco’s NYC Master Class. She learned how to make a feature-length anthology film, which enabled her to write, direct, and eventually produce “Roaring Tides,” a SAG-AFTRA short film.
Aly made her acting debut in an episode of the TV show Mozart in the Jungle in 2014. Her debut film was also an official selection at several prestigious film festivals. At the NYC Chain Film Festival, Aly was named “Best New Director,” as well as “Best Female Filmmaker” in the Best Shorts Competition.
