Andrew Tate, who Romanian authorities apprehended in 2022 on suspicion of organized crime, rape, and people trafficking, has frequently appeared as a guest on Infowars despite making statements in support of violence against women.

For instance, Rogan complements Jones on his buzzed hairdo on March 6, 2020. With a smiling emoji, the Infowars host responds, “Now for the Joe Rogan Alex Jones sex tape… that will shatter the net.”

Long after claims of abuse that matched his sexist statements about women had surfaced, Rogan praised Tate this year on a Jan. 6 episode of his podcast.

“I’m not sure. Rogan stated of Tate, “I don’t know what [Andrew Tate] did. The comments were made during an interview with Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, who has also been accused of sexual assault, which he has denied. “I realize a lot of what [Tate] does is theater,” Rogan continued. And as a result, he has amassed an incredible sum of money by adopting this role, this online image. Yet other times, he makes quite intelligent remarks. He makes absurd statements as well as some fascinating ones. He is a highly wise man.

In his subsequent remarks, Rogan compared the male supremacist Tate to a professional wrestler heel, or someone who exaggerates the traits of a villain. Portnoy cocked his head in doubt.

Around 2018, Tate relocated to Romania, claiming in public that he did so because he thought the nation would be more accepting of the way he treated women.

According to reports, he said that one of the primary reasons he relocated to Romania was because the country’s rape laws were less strict. I don’t fucking rape people, but I like the thought of having complete freedom.

Years before Rogan’s conversation with Portnoy on December 14, 2019, Jones texts Rogan to suggest Tate be invited to “The Joe Rogan Experience.” A day after the men debate a dispute that is never completely described, Jones offers the suggestion. Jones and Rogan were contacted by Hatewatch for this article, but no comment was given.

Just before this series started, Jones seemed to ignore the reporter’s request for a comment. Tate is currently being held in a prison in Romania while he awaits trial. Hatewatch tried to get in touch with him through Twitter, where he occasionally updates from behind bars, but got no response.
