Andrew Tate’s hospitalization has resulted in conflicting reports about his health.
Over the weekend, Andrew Tate was the subject of conflicting stories after it was revealed that he had briefly visited a hospital following his detention.
On December 29, 2022, the American-British influencer was arrested in Romania along with his brother, Tristan, and two Romanian nationals and charged with people trafficking.
Prosecutors in Romania claim that the Tate brothers pressured six women into making pornography, with the accused victims subjected to “acts of physical violence and mental compulsion.” One of those detained has also been charged with rape, however their identity has not been revealed.
Andrew Tate’s Twitter account issued a tweet on Sunday with a link to an article regarding his health from the Romanian website SpyNews.
Part of the article’s language, which was provided in a snapshot in the tweet, indicated that one of the Tate brothers “wound up in hospital” after their arrest.

Carmina Pricopie, an investigative journalist for Romanian news network Antena 3 CNN, was quoted as saying Tate cited “some medical concerns” during a routine check.
“Yesterday, he was taken out of the Central Prison of the Capital Police. And sent to a hospital because when he was detained, he was given a medical checkup. And the prison doctor questioned him if he was suffering from specific ailments,” according to the quote.
“The Tate brothers’ counsel notified the central prison center. And claimed that he had various medical difficulties,” according to the quote. “Based on this notification, he was transported to a specialist consultation in a capital hospital yesterday.”
Tate has since been returned to “the primary custody center of the Capital Police,” according to remarks cited to Pricopie.
