Sasha’s family relocated to Moscow when she was a child. Luss, too, used to perform ballet as a child and compete in numerous competitions. Unfortunately, an ankle injury prohibited her from continuing her career.

Sasha began to consider modeling at that point. Many of her mother’s acquaintances, as well as strangers, have praised her modeling abilities. Sasha’s mother, Mariya Luss, took her to a modeling agency at the age of 13 and signed her.

During Moscow Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2008, Sasha gave her first fashion show for Alena Akhmandullina. Luss rose to prominence in the Russian fashion world thanks to her sculpted appearance. Sasha was featured in Vogue Russia and L’Officiel Russia that year.

Luss joined with DNA Model Management, which gave her access to the international fashion scene. Following that, Luss travelled to Europe and New York to walk for DKNY and Antonio Marras. Sasha’s career, however, did not take off, and she returned to Russia to finish her education.
