Before making his debut in 1991 under the ring name Mongo Vyle, LoMonaco was trained by Jonny Rodz. In 1995, he had a tryout with ECW and played Mongo, Bill Alfonso’s bodyguard.

They dominated the ECW, winning eight times in a row all of the major tag team titles. In the year 2000, Buh Buh Ray and D-Von departed ECW and joined the WWF (now WWE). The Hardy Boyz, Edge and Cristian, and The Dudley Boyz then engaged in a feud for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

They left WWE in 2005 to join TNA, where they won the NWA World Tag Team Championship and the TNA World Tag Team Championship twice. Bully Ray also held the TNA World Heavyweight Championship after his team was disbanded. They spent the majority of their time in TNA.The Dudley Boyz returned to WWE on August 24, 2015, reclaiming their character and defeating a slew of other superstars before they announced their departure from WWE at Summerslam. The Dudley Boyz appeared on RAW 25 years and gave Heath Slater Dudley Death Drop through the table. The Dudley Boyz stable was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for the 2018 class.
