Campbell Newman is an Australian Liberal Party politician. Campbell was Queensland’s 38th premiere from 2012 to 2015. He also served as a member of the Ashgrove Legislative Assembly in Queensland from 2012 to 2015.

Campbell served as the 15th Lord Mayor of Brisbane from 2004 to 2011. In the 2012 state election, the Liberal National Party won a 44-seat two-party swing. He resigned as a politician on February 10, 2015. After four days, Anastacia Palaszczuk succeeded him.
