Catherine’s family castle in Italy is the subject of the film. Catherine Bomarzini and her best friend Gina traveled to Italy after her father died. Lawrence drugs both women and rapes Gina in front of his team after supper. Then he drags Catherine away to another room, stripping down and seducing her instead of having sex with her.

As the film progresses, they can only die at the hands of a loved one. Catherine discovers that both of her brothers are cursed.
