Most people could think of Colleen Campbell as almost the ideal woman for guys. She appears to possess all the desirable qualities of an attractive woman: she is pretty, talented, dedicated, and well-liked by the audience. Some people might not be aware of her troubled past, though. She got into a verbal altercation with a man at the Philadelphia helium Comedy Club in June 2017. The dispute became so heated that the police were summoned to settle it.
However, the female weather reporter was so inebriated that she paid no attention to anyone, not even the police officer on the scene. Additionally, the irate Campbell insulted the officer and used profanity at him. nWhen comedian Will Sylvince from New York uploaded a video of the incident to social media, it quickly went viral. The officer then had to act, handcuffed the woman, arrested her, and took her into custody. She apologized for her conduct and claimed she felt ashamed for herself and her family after coming to her senses the next day.
The anchor spoke, as follows:
“I feel embarrassed and ashamed of what I did. I’m hoping the Philadelphia policeman who interacted with me on Sunday night will permit me to personally apologize to him and let him know how really sorry I am for what happened.
Unfortunately, despite her apology, she lost her job and her dignity after her news channel, WPHL 17, saw the clip. Fortunately for her, she was able to land a position with WDTV News, where she started in May 2018.
