Early years:

In 1983, Cub Swanson was born in the charming community of Palm Springs, California. Because his sibling couldn’t say his real name, he was given the moniker Cub when he was a child. Swanson and his siblings were adopted by their dad’s cousin following the death of their father and the struggle his mother faced with addiction.

Swanson was raised attending church, receiving a home education, playing soccer, and dreaming of being a professional. Despite a turbulent high school experience, he eventually discovered a passion for supporting children with disabilities through United Cerebral Palsy. This inspired him to study MMA and master the art of combat.
