• Within a month, he had constructed a website, registered for nonprofit status, and funded over $3000 via crowdfunding. After establishing the farm, he rescued two cows, Henry and Cora, from a local primary school. After a few years, the farm now has over 100 animals, including roosters rescued from a cockfighting ring, Charlie, a blind goat, ducklings, dwarf goats, and “The Three Amigos” goats Steve, Chevy, and Martin. The McKernan are aided by a Georgia-based Om Foundation staff of 13.
