Vinnie Vincent (1984 – 1989
Vinnie Vincent’s invasion is led by former Kiss band guitarist Vinnie Vincent, who wants Dana to join his team. They collaborate on the development of Vinnie Vincent’s invasion. The self-titled album was a huge success, reaching number one on the Billboard 100.
Following the release of their second album, the band decided to split and announced their final show on August 26, 1988 in Anaheim, California.
Following the disbandment of the Vinnie Vincent invasion, Mark Slaughter and Dana Strum embark on their next venture, forming the band Slaughter.
Dana remarked that his band members were “distinctly different animals,” although sharing the same thoughts. However, he believed that it would be the ideal blend of varied characters.
