Daniel Bachmann is a well-known professional footballer from Austria who has played goalkeeping for both the Austrian national team and Premier League club Watford. Daniel Bachmann began his professional career by signing with Stoke City in the summer of 2011 after leaving FK Austria Wien. He played for Stoke’s under-18 and under-21 teams before joining Conference Premier side Wrexham on loan on August 5, 2014.

He signed a six-month loan agreement with Scottish Premiership team Ross County in July 2015, and on August 8, 2015, he made his professional debut after replacing injured goalkeeper Scott Fox in a 2-0 victory over Hamilton Academical. On October 28, 2015, he made a one-month loan move to League One team Bury. In July 2016, he extended his Stoke contract by one year. Stoke let him go at the conclusion of the 2016–2017 campaign.

Watford

On July 1, 2017, Watford Bachmann agreed to a three-year contract. On August 8, 2018, he agreed to a season-long loan with Scottish Premiership team Kilmarnock. The next year, he earned his Watford debut by appearing in a 3-3 FA Cup third-round tie against Tranmere Rovers. He also participated in his debut Premier League match on August 14, 2021, when Watford defeated Aston Villa 3-2 in their league opener.
