Tracey later announced the tragic news of Denise’s death on August 13, writing, “I want to take this moment to thank our friends and family for all of the love and prayers.” I am writing to inform everyone that my sister, Denise Dowse, has gone ahead to meet our family in eternal life. Denise Yvonne Dowse was an incredible sister, an accomplished and distinguished actress, mentor, and director. She was my last family member and greatest friend.”
