He first collapsed while taking a shower at the Tonopah Station Hotel and Casino in Nevada. The actor’s breathing stopped as he was being taken to the hospital. The medics were quick to use a defibrillator to restart his heart.
Chuck had a second heart attack after arriving at the hospital and had to be stabilized again. He was then flown by helicopter to Renown Regional Medical Center. Chuck recovered quickly after incorporating proper care and diet into his daily routine. After two near-death experiences, he was able to leave the hospital in a matter of days.
