Unfortunately, Gulf & Western Industries took over the company in 1967, forcing Head to resign. She moved to Universal Studios as a result. She had a small cottage there, with a gold shingle hung on the front door. Not to mention the shingle’s shape was reminiscent of a woman’s body.

This legend won her first Academy Award for The Heiress in 1949. Soon after, she began to receive numerous honors, and her work became well-known. Head was honored for his work on films such as Samson and Delilah, All About Eve, A Place in the Sun, Roman Holiday, Sabrina, and The Sting.
