Emily’s parents first saw her talking to herself in her cot when she was just two years old. They then placed a tape recorder in her room to listen in on her conversations. They gave the tapes to a buddy who is a linguist and a psychologist.

Her Parents concluded that Emily’s vocabulary was substantially more complicated after evaluating her speech.
