After ending his contract with Alaves on January 1st of this year, he signed a three-year contract with FC Lausanne-Sport in the Swiss Super League. His father’s longtime teammate Guti managed the squad. According to rumors quoting his purported Brazilian agent Roberto Carlos, he would sign with Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca in September 2020. Frédéric Hermel, a French journalist, asserted that the stories were untrue. He committed to Ligue 2 club Rodez on June 9, 2021. On July 24, 2021, he made his club debut in a 4-0 victory over SM Caen.
