On January 11, 1992, Fatima Shaikh was born in Hyderabad, Telangana, into a wealthy family. Her mother is from Srinagar, while her father is from Jammu. While her mother, Raj Tabassum, is a Muslim who practices Islam, her father, Vipin Sharma, hails from a Hindu household.

Her brother is younger than her. When they were younger, they attended the same school. Sana finished her education at Mumbai’s St. Xavier High School and graduated from Mithibai College. She was a child actress who worked in Bollywood films.
