Frances blamed her son’s lyrics in his song for the increase in reproduction. The Get Busy singer even revealed that his mother had asked him to sing about contraception in order to control the population. Murugi Gichovi of The Sauce quoted Sean Paul in his article, in which the Temperature singer stated:

My mum, she’s like: ‘Yo the earth should not be so populated, you have to sing songs about contraception,’ one day I’ll do it as it’s true. It’s crazy, we are clotting the place up.

Frances’s Husband Gareth Was A Drug Addict

The controversy surrounding Frances Henriques’ husband appears to be about more than just ganja smuggling. He has also been involved in other activities. Things that made her son Sean despise his father as a child. He was a cocaine user.

When Frances Got High By Accident?

For many years, Frances Henriques shared her home with her weed-obsessed husband. Her son is also interested. This was bound to happen at some point. Sean Paul, the No Lie singer, has revealed that his mother and grandmother inadvertently consumed something they should not have. They ate all of his brownies.

The mother and grandmother ate it without realizing it wasn’t a regular brownie. It happened at one of his birthday parties, according to the Get Busy singer. According to Halina Watts of The Irish Mirror:

They ate them before I could tell them not to and then spent all afternoon on the couch stoned. My 90-year-old grandmother was hallucinating looking out of the window thinking all the birds and the trees were changing colour, while my mum was like the cookie monster.

She Is A Grandma Now

Sean Paul, Frances’ son, has blessed her with grandchildren. They are Remi Leigh Henriques, a daughter, and Levi Blaze, a son.

Levi is the older of the two sons. Remi, the daughter, was born on August 20, 2019. Caleb Brush’s baby Evangalynn Kodi was born on the same day. Many pictures of them can be found on their father, Sean, and their mother, Jodi Stewart’s Instagram pages.

Frances must be pleased with the success her son Sean has achieved through music. However, this was not always the case. Sean has revealed that his mother was initially opposed to his career.

Sean told The Gleaner that his mother did not want him to pursue a career in music because she was afraid of critics. She was concerned that people would dislike her son’s work. In response, he stated:

On my mom side, yes because she is an artist. She paints and so she knows exactly what it feels like to pour your emotion into something and then somebody tells you that it’s not good enough, or the public might tell you they don’t like it.

Her Husband Loved Weed (How His Love For Weed Crashed The Plane)

Sean Paul fans are aware that his father, Gareth Henriques, enjoyed marijuana. People referred to him as “Dad Blaze.” His weed addiction has also gotten him into a lot of trouble.

Frances was once caught attempting to smuggle 700 pounds of marijuana from Jamaica to the United States. However, that is not the most bizarre aspect of this story. The plane from which he was flying crashed in Florida. Yes, the plane crashed due to a lack of fuel. The bizarre incident happened in 1982.

Sean mentioned his father, who called his grandfather a “crazy dude,” on the At Home With podcast. When asked about Gimme The Light, a song that was extremely popular among weed enthusiasts at the time, he stated:

The song means a lot to me … it lasted so long and it big up all the weed dudes. My father was locked up several times for weed, he crashed a ganja plane in the Everglades, he was a crazy dude. Yeah for all of those things he went through, when this song broke, he was mad proud of his boy.
