In December 2021, Hamsa broke the news to her admirers that she was suffering from breast cancer. Yes, she revealed this on Instagram by uploading a photo of herself with a bald head and a comment about her cancer battle.

She stated she felt a lump in her breast four months ago and discovered it was cancer and  also revealed in this caption that she lost her mother to cancer 18 years ago and has spent her entire life under the shadow of cancer.

She went on to say that after a few clinical check-ups,  was diagnosed with a Grade III Invasive Carcinoma (Breast Cancer).

Hamsa  underwent surgery to remove all of the cancer cells. Hamsa then revealed that she has now completed nine cycles of chemotherapy and that seven more sessions of chemotherapy are on the way, after which she will be free of any cancer threats. She also thanked everyone who had prayed for her to have a long and healthy life.

Hamsa is clearly single and was leading a happy life before being diagnosed with breast cancer. She mentioned in one of her interviews in 2017 that she is in love with Biker, but she never revealed his real identity. At the time, it was reported that she had met her ideal mate and love objective. Hamsa was also seen hanging out with the unknown man in Mumbai at the time.

She later confessed to being in love and in a relationship. But she was always hesitant to divulge her secrets. Her relationship with a Biker man began when she went on vacation to Himachal Pradesh and met him there.
