Childhood and Adolescence of Irrfan Khan

Irrfan Khan was born on January 7, 1967, as Sahabzade Irfan Ali Khan. His hometown is Tonk, Rajasthan, India, and he was 53 years old when he died on April 29, 2020 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He was born into a Muslim family of Pathan descent. His mother was Saeeda Begum Khan from Jodhpur, and his father was Yaseen Ali Khan from the Khajuriya village in Rajasthan’s Tonk district.

His parents ran a tyre business, and he grew up in Tonk and then Jaipur. Irrfan Khan excelled at cricket, and as a result, he was chosen to compete in the CK Nayudu Trophy for emerging players in the under-23 category.
