Isabel Torres, a member of the LGBTQ community in Spain and a Spanish actress, TV personality, activist, and program host, was born on July 14, 1969, making her 52 years old. She was male from birth but was transsexual.

As the first Canarian woman to change her identification in 1996, she has received this distinction. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Mrs. Isabel made history as the first transgender woman to compete for the international crown of Carnival Queen.

Throughout her employment, Isabel helped numerous LGBTQ individuals and had a fantastic career. But tragically, the well-known transgender figure is no longer with us after passing away from lung cancer on February 11, 2022, in Las Palmas.

In a previous interview from 2021, Isabel expressed her sorrow over being diagnosed with cancer. She said that as the disease started, her life became like a vase of cold water.

While filming for her TV series Poison (Veneno), our lovely actress Isabel began to experience some signs of cancer earlier in the year 2020. She was diagnosed with the disease in March 2020.

She revealed on her Instagram story last month that her doctor had told her that she only had two months left to live.

Isabel passed away at the Hospital Universitario Insular de Gran Canaria in Las Palmas on February 11, 2022. She had lung cancer that had spread to other organs.

Her family shared the news of her death on her official Instagram account, formally confirming it.The message was written in Spanish and said, “Today we say goodbye to our beloved Isabel. Her family and friends are deeply saddened by her loss, and we know she will have fun wherever she goes.”
