Early in his adolescence, Jaden Schwartz participated in amateur ice hockey competitions. The 2007 Mac’s AAA midget hockey championship was won by Jaden. As a member of the Notre Dame Hounds of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, Swartz started his hockey career.
After 46 junior games and 34 goals and 42 assists, Jaden Schwartz earned the title of SJHL Rookie and Top Offensive Player in the USHL for the 2009–2010 season. He contributed to Colorado College’s NCAA tournament victory as a rookie by scoring two goals and providing an assist.
John served as the captain of the squad at the World Junior competition during his sophomore year, scoring 15 goals and providing 26 assists for a total of 41 points in just 30 games.
