His first season was outstanding; he averaged 15.8 points per game, good for seventh place in the country, 4.6 rebounds, 2.1 steals, and 6.7 assists. He was named the league’s Rookie of the Year and was the overwhelming choice for the first team All-MAAC. After he pulled out of the 2019 NBA draft, he went back to Siena.
He was selected to the first team All-MAAC in his junior year for the second consecutive year, and he won the MAAC Player of the Year award in 2020. He switched to Penn State for his last year of college in order to complete his education in the Big Ten Conference.
