Jennifer Esposito, Bradley Cooper’s ex-wife, has responded to those who chastised her for making a remark on a post about her ex-Oscars husband’s duet with Lady Gaga. Cooper and Lady Gaga, his co-star in A Star Is Born, sang “Shallow” at the Oscars on Sunday night, which went on to win best original song.

“Is there any chance these two aren’t f***king?” David Spade wrote beside a photo of Cooper and Gaga singing at the Oscars on Instagram. Esposito then responded to Spade’s post with a “Ha” comment. Her mocking remark drew backlash.

Esposito responded by posting a video on Instagram with very explicit language clarifying who her remark was directed at “I literally laughed at David Spade’s very upfront comments about an ex because he was so bold in what he was saying and I thought it was funny.
