She also stated that the proceeds from the sales would benefit her racing career, which encouraged her fans to purchase the merchandise.

Following that, the Kansas native raced in the Xfinity Series and the Gander RV/Outdoors Truck Series for the next four years.

Later Career

Although Cobbs did not achieve much, being a female racer in a male-dominated sport was enough to garner a large fan base.

Jennifer’s popularity skyrocketed in 2010 when she became the highest female points finisher in NASCAR history, finishing 17th.

As a result, the Kansas-born racer felt she was finally progressing in her racing career.

The following year was just as good, if not better, as Jennifer finished sixth in the Truck Series, becoming the highest-finishing female in the competition’s history.

She also founded her own racing team, Jennifer Jo Cobb Racing, in collaboration with the United States Army Family and MWR Command.

Cobbs’ next big break, however, came for the wrong reason.

Mike Harmon, another team owner and driver, was accused of stealing the racing team’s trailer and other items.

The police eventually discovered that Mike had indeed stolen various items with his sister and Jennifer’s former partner, Dave Novak.
