Rivers played basketball for the Georgetown Hoyas men’s basketball team from 2006 to 2008 and the Indiana Hoosiers men’s basketball team from 2009 to 2011, before turning pro in 2011. Rivers was drafted for the first time in 2011. In 2013, Rivers retired from basketball.
