Jericka Duncan started her career as a reporter in Elmira, New York, shortly after graduating in 2005.

In 2007, she moved to Buffalo, New York, to work for CBS affiliate WIVB. She worked as a reporter for three years there.
She joined another CBS affiliate, KYW TV in Philadelphia, in 2010, where she covered several major stories, including Hurricane Irene in 2011 and Superstorm Sandy in 2012.

Jericka joined CBS News as a news correspondent and reporter in 2013. She has since covered a number of critically important national issues.
Duncan broke the story of former “60 Minutes” anchor Jeff Fager’s abusive behavior on Wednesday’s edition of “CBS Evening News.” She read Jeff’s text message aloud:
“If you repeat these false accusations with no evidence to back them up, you will be responsible for harming me…there are people who lost their jobs trying to harm me…that will become a serious problem.”Later, CBS News president David Rhodes revealed that Fager’s employer fired him for violating company policy.
