He began his career at Shrewsbury Town’s youth team, where he began playing football. Manchester City, Tranmere Rovers (on loan), Blackpool (on loan), Birmingham City (on loan), Torino (on loan), West Ham United (on loan), Burnley, and Tottenham Hotspur are among his previous clubs. He has played for Manchester City his whole professional career, making over 300 appearances for the club. While it was an incredible risk on Eriksson’s part, he did not disappoint, demonstrating that he was one of England’s top footballers.
