Volunteering Is Beneficial

Daly is well-known for his involvement in numerous charities, including his high school, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. He shaved his signature “mullet” and donated the proceeds to various charities as an avid supporter of the University of Arkansas’ sports programs.

After winning the PGA Championship at Crooked Stick Golf Club in 1991, he donated $30,000 to the family of the surviving children of a tournament spectator who was killed by lightning. He was in the early stages of his golf career and was not particularly wealthy at the time.

The First Marriage

Daly married his Arkansas girlfriend Dale Crafton, who came from a wealthy family when he was 21 years old. Crafton was a hand model at the time, and Daly was a golfer for the University of Arkansas.

She wanted Daly to be with her in her hometown after their marriage, whereas Daly was looking forward to moving and attempting to make it to the PGA Tour. However, the couple split up after three years due to a lack of relationship cooperation in 1990.

Daly turned to alcohol and gambling after his tragic divorce.

Bettye Fulford is the second wife.

Later, he began dating Bettye Fulford, who helped him recover from his alcoholism. But Daly dumped her after discovering Fulford was ten years older than she claimed and had a 13-year-old son with her ex-husband. Daly was dating Paulette Dean, a 20-year-old model, at the time.

Furthermore, Fulford was pregnant with their first child, giving her the right to sue him for palimony and paternity. As a result, the couple married in 1995 and had their first child, Shynah Hale, the following month.

In December of that year, Fulford charged his husband with third-degree assault after he threw her into a wall at their home near Denver.

Nonetheless, because Bettye did not want to pursue the matter, the specifics of the incident remained unknown in public releases. Daly, on the other hand, stated in his autobiography that he never hit or hurt a woman and never will.

Relationship Restored

Following his divorce from Fulford in 1995, he began dating Paulette Dean Daly and soon married her. Sierra is the couple’s daughter.

However, the couple’s relationship was difficult to manage, and their four-year marriage ended in 1999.

The Fourth Marriage

Daly’s faith in love was unaffected by multiple failed relationships. He married Sherrie Miller for the fourth time on July 29, 2001.

The couple welcomed their first child, a son named John Patrick Daly II, on July 23, 2003.

Things appeared to be going well until Daly and Sherrie got into a fight on June 8, 2007, at a restaurant in Memphis, Tennessee.

Daly claims his wife attacked him with a steak knife later that night. On Friday afternoon, he arrived for his second round with cuts and scrapes across his face. He summoned authorities to the house, but Sherrie had already fled, taking their children with her.

Sherrie eventually pleaded guilty to federal drug charges and was sentenced to five months in prison.

On December 17, 2010, Daly was awarded child custody, while Sherrie was imprisoned for interfering with Daly’s court-ordered visitation rights and other failures to follow the court’s orders in their ongoing divorce proceeding, according to the court “She is disobeying the court’s orders. That is criminal disobedience.”

Anna Cladakis is his fiancée.

John Daly, the legendary pro golfer, is currently engaged to Anna Cladakis. The couple has been dating for over a decade and plans to marry soon. Anna will become John Daly’s fifth wife if this occurs.

He is active on Instagram, where he has 243k followers, and he frequently posts pictures of himself with his lovely lady.

Sherrie Miller, Daly’s fourth wife, sued Cladakis in 2014 for splitting their marital affair, which ended in 2007.

Daly, who has been a professional since 1987, joined the PGA Tour in 1991 and won the PGA Championship that August. He also won four PGA Tour events.

His career began to wane after the 2006 season. He struggled to make cuts and stay on tour.
