Tragic Accident Causes and Place of Johnny Gaudreau

Gaudreau was involved in a fatal bicycle accident in his hometown of Salem, New Jersey. Johnny Gaudreau (31) and his brother Matthew (29) were hit by a Jeep while riding bikes. The accident happened on Thursday night on County Route 551 in Oldmans Township, Salem County. The Jeep driver, Sean Higgins (43) from Woodstown, New Jersey, tried to pass another car. He then struck the Gaudreau brothers, who were biking on the road’s right side.

On Thursday evening, an accident involving a Jeep hitting bicycles ridden by Johnny Gaudreau (31) and his brother Matthew (29) occurred along Salem County Route 551 in Oldmans Township. The accident took place in Salem County on County Highway 551. Sean Higgins (43), from Woodstown, New Jersey was the driver of the Jeep who tried overtaking another car. He then struck the Gaudreau brothers who were peddling their bikes on the right side of the road.

Higgins was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, and then charged with two counts of DUI resulting in death by vehicular homicide. After this, he found himself in Salem County Jail.
