Josh Dasilva began his football career with Arsenal, joining the club’s Hale End academy at the age of eight. He signed his first professional contract there in August 2015, and during the 2016–2017 season, he made two substitute appearances for the first team without being used. During the first half of the 2017–2018 season, he was used as a substitute seven times and made three appearances, all in EFL Cup games. He then turned down a new contract during the 2018 off-season and was released on 30th June 2018.
Brentford
Dasilva signed a four-year contract with Championship team Brentford on August 21. He made his debut on November 3 as a late replacement for Josh McEachran in a 2-0 victory over Millwall. He started two FA Cup games and had occasional substitute appearances in league games. On April 19, 2019, he scored his first professional goal against Millwall in the rematch. He made 21 appearances and scored one goal before season’s end in 2018-2019.
