Julia Lazar Franco died on August 25, 2014, at the age of 56. She was diagnosed with Hepatitis C earlier this month and admitted to UCSF Hospital’s ICU. Her death was caused by complications from hepatitis C-related liver failure, end-stage liver cirrhosis, and liver cancer. She also had kidney failure, according to reports.

Julia’s memorial service was held on August 31st of that year.
