However, due to injuries and organizational conflicts, the Winnipeg Jets opted to move Keith to the St. Louis Blues in the summer of 2000, bringing an end to his nine-year tenure with the team. In those nine years, the Massachusetts native amassed 323 goals and 1508 penalty minutes, making him the second all-time leading goal scorer.
