Tatiana Gennadievna Khabenskaya is his mother, and Yuri Aronovich Khabensky is his father. Both of his parents were engineers, and his mother also taught math. His older sister’s name is Natalia Khabenskaya.

Similarly he spent four years in Nizhnevartovsk after moving there with his family in 1981. In 1985, the family went back to Leningrad. Then after he completing eight semesters at high school no. 486, he enrolled in the Technical College of Aviation Instrument Engineering and Automation.
