On February 20, 2010, Krishna Thea Lakshmi-Dell was born to model and TV host Padma Lakshmi. Her mother was in a relationship with business magnate Theodore J. Forstmann at the time of her birth, so many assumed he was Krishna’s father.
Krishna’s father, however, was later revealed to be Adam Dell, whom Krishna’s mother dated in 2009. Following the revelations, Adam petitioned the court for full custody of Krishna as well as the inclusion of his name on Krishna’s birth certificate.
Krishna’s mother believed it was best to settle the dispute outside of court, and Krishna’s parents agreed to joint custody and co-parenting. Krishna also adopted her father’s surname and began identifying as Krishna Thea Lakshmi-Dell.
Fortunately for Krishna, co-parenting brought the former couple back together, and romance blossomed between them once more. They are currently in a relationship and live as a family of three.
Theodore J. Forstmann Bequeathed Krishna Thea Lakshmi-Dell Trust Fund
As previously stated, Krishna’s mother was dating billionaire Theodore J. Forstmann at the time of her birth in 2010. Despite learning that Krishna is not his biological daughter, he always treated her as such.
Thus, before his death in 2011, he changed his will and left Krishna an undisclosed sum in a trust fund. Krishna’s trust fund is thought to be in the millions, as Forstmann was worth $1.8 billion at the time of his death.
