In August 2014, he agreed to a trial contract with EC Salzburg that ran through the end of September. He made the decision to end his contract with Salzburg after nine games and return to North America, where he signed a deal with the Missouri Mavericks of the ECHL on November 25, 2015. Later, on December 18, 2015, he made the decision to join the Graz 99ers in the Austrian Hockey League.
