Landry Jones was born on April 4, 1989, in Artesia, New Mexico, to Kevin and Kellye Jones. He was named after Tom Landry, the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. He also developed an interest in football at a young age. Landry is an American citizen. He has also not disclosed any information about his ethnic origin as of now. Landry went to Artesia High School in his hometown for his education. Colorado, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, Virginia, and Wisconsin were among the colleges who recruited him subsequently.
