Lil Nas X will be ringing in the New Year with a brand new hairstyle, as he revealed photographs of his new locks, but many fans reacted in a comical manner, claiming that they resemble him of a specific renowned athlete; who might this be?
The “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” hitmaker took to Twitter to share a video and a selfie of himself showing off his new hairstyle.
Many fans recall the rapper always wearing his short afro puff throughout the previous year, but he’s changed things up by sporting dreadlocks.

Following this, many people immediately compared his hair to that of NBA All-Star point guard Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies.

“Lil Nas X and Ja Morant might be long-lost twins!” someone else wrote.

Even rapper Thierra Whack couldn’t deny the eerie likeness when she quote-retweeted the post.

This was not the rapper’s first time sharing a snapshot of his new hairstyle; he debuted it at his Sidney Myer Music Bowl event in Melbourne, Australia.
