Following their divorce after a year of marriage, the newlywed couple went their separate ways. Similarly, Linda married William Broyles Jr. on November 5, 1988, after seven years of divorce from her first love. Her relationship with William, like her previous one, did not last, and the couple divorced in 1992 after four years of marriage.

Regardless, her second divorce did not deter the stunning actress from marrying her third love. Purl married Alexander Cary on July 23, 1993, just a year after her divorce from  illiam.
